We are medical professionals in anaesthesia, intensive care, paediatrics and medicine from Perth in Western Australia and urgently seek your help.
Reports from medical colleagues on the ground paint a grim picture of hospitals operating without essential supplies such as anaesthesia, pain medications, and critical equipment. The devastation to healthcare infrastructure and withholding of vital supplies at border crossings has left our colleagues struggling to provide even basic care in unimaginable circumstances.
The urgency of the situation cannot be overstated. By donating to this appeal in support of the Palestinian Red Crescent and UNRWA, you can make a tangible difference in the lives of our colleagues and their patients.
All donations regardless of size, will directly impact the work of these reputable organizations on the front lines. Both UNRWA and the Red Crescent have a proven track record of delivering aid where needed in the most challenging conditions. We have been devastated to hear of our colleagues being harmed and we cannot stand idly by while healthcare workers and patients suffer.
We urge you to stand in solidarity by supporting our fundraising effort. Together, we can ensure the basic human right to healthcare is upheld for all, regardless of circumstances.
We wish to emphasise this fundraising effort is non-political and based on our shared humanity.
Thank you for your compassion and for considering our plea.

We are artists, curators, and cultural workers based in Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia. In collaboration with Perth Doctors for Medical Aid for Palestine, we are raising urgent funds in response to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
Like many, we have felt powerless in the face of ongoing bombardment, blockade, and the collapse of medical and civil infrastructure. We are grateful to the doctors’ network for extending this opportunity to the arts community to contribute in a meaningful, coordinated way. This is a practical action we can take, one that channels our skills and networks toward direct support for those on the ground.
Through this partnership, we are raising funds for trusted organisations including Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), the Palestinian Red Crescent, and UNRWA. These organisations are working under extreme conditions to deliver critical food, medical care, and emergency supplies.
This effort is non-political. It is a response grounded in shared humanity and a commitment to care, dignity, and justice for all people. As artists and cultural workers, we believe in the importance of acting with clarity and compassion when it matters most.
We thank everyone who has donated work, offered their labour, or supported this fundraiser. Every contribution helps. Every gesture matters.
In solidarity,
The Art for Aid Collective
